  13. All included photographs are in 1024x768 resolution with
  14. low compression, so they look great at any high resolution.
  15. If your screen resolution is 800x600 or less, this screen
  16. saver will still work fine but you will get slightly better
  17. results by using the 800x600 version, available on our web
  18. site.

  27. ******* IMPORTANT CONFIGURATION NOTE *******
  28.  
  29. We recommend that you disable the power-save function 
  30. that turns off your monitor after periods of inactivity.  
  31. This will allow you to enjoy your screen saver continuously, 
  32. and also avoids a problem seen on some computers which can 
  33. cause a lock-up when going into or coming out of power-save mode. 
  34.  
  35. To do this, go to your Desktop Properties (right-click on 
  36. a blank area of your desktop and select "Properties" from 
  37. the menu that pops up), click the "Screen Saver" tab, click 
  38. on the "Power" buttton if you see one, and change the "Turn 
  39. off monitor" setting to "Never".

  42. ******* SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS *******

  44. This screen saver requires:
  45. - Windows 95, 98 or NT 4.0 (or greater) operating system
  46. - Video display of 256 or more colors
  47. - Minimum 8 Mb of RAM (16 Mb or more recommended)
  48. - Approximately 4 Mb of free disk space
  49. - Intel« 486 or greater processor

  52. ******* INSTALLING YOUR SCREEN SAVER *******

  54. Just run the Setup.exe program and follow the instructions.

  58. ******* CUSTOMIZING YOUR SCREEN SAVER *******

  60. You can easily change the appearance of your screen saver.
  61.  
  62. You can specify the delay between images, the transition effects,
  63. image size, show images in black and white, whether to randomize 
  64. the images or not, and several other features. 
  65.  
  66. You can also extract any image as your desktop wallpaper, and
  67. even have the wallpaper cycle every hour or every day.

  70. To change the settings:
  71.  
  72. 1. Right click on an open area of your desktop, and choose 
  73.    "Properties" from the bottom of the pop-up menu. This will 
  74.    bring up the Display Properties dialog box.
  75. 2. Click on the "Screensaver" tab.
  76. 3. Now click on the "Settings..." button.  This will bring up 
  77.    the screen saver's own dialog box with which you can preview 
  78.    it, change the settings, select a photo to be wallpaper, 
  79.    and other functions.
  80. 4. Click on the "Settings..." button on this screen saver's 
  81.    dialog to change the Screen Saver preferences, Wallpaper 
  82.    settings, Password, and Effects.
  83. 5. Make any changes you want, and click the "OK" button. 
  84. 6. If you're finished with the screen saver settings, click 
  85.    on the "X" to close the screen saver dialog, then click 
  86.    "OK" on the Display Properties dialog.

  89. ******* SETTING THE WALLPAPER *******

  91. You can use any image in the screensaver appear as your desktop
  92. wallpaper.
  93.  
  94. 1. Get to the Screen Saver Settings dialog as detailed above.
  95. 2. Select the image you want to be wallpaper in the thumbnails
  96.    list.  Scroll down to see more if necessary.
  97. 3. Either double-click on the image you want, or click the 
  98.    "Wallpaper" button after clicking one the image once.
  99.    
  100. If you want to reset the wallpaper:
  101.  
  102. 1. Right click on an open area of your desktop, and choose 
  103.    "Properties" from the bottom of the pop-up menu. This will 
  104.    bring up the Display Properties dialog box.
  105. 2. Click on the "Background" tab, and select "(none)" in the 
  106.    Wallpaper list (or select the wallpaper you want).

  109. ******* CHANGING TO A DIFFERENT SCREEN SAVER*******

  111. When this screen saver is installed, it automatically becomes 
  112. the active screen saver.  Later you may want to change to a 
  113. different one.  This can be done through Windows' "Display 
  114. Properties":
  115.  
  116. 1. Right click on an open area of your desktop, and choose 
  117.    "Properties" from the bottom of the pop-up menu.  This will 
  118.    bring up the Display Properties dialog box.
  119. 2. Click on the "Screen Saver" tab.
  120. 3. Click on the drop-down box under "Screen Saver", where it 
  121.    shows the name of the currently active screen saver.
  122. 4. Select the desired screen saver from the list.
  123. 5. Click "OK"

  126. ******* UNINSTALLING THE SCREEN SAVER*******

  128. After installing, you can easily remove this screen saver from 
  129. your computer through the Add/Remove Programs icon in Control Panel.
  130. After uninstalling, you will need to install it again (from the CD
  131. or downloaded archive) in order to view it again, so be sure that 
  132. you want to do this before proceeding.  If you only want to change 
  133. screen savers temporarily, see the section above.

  135. To remove the screen saver from your hard disk:

  137. 1. Click the Start menu
  138. 2. Click Settings
  139. 3. Click Control Panel
  140. 4. Double click Add/Remove Programs
  141. 5. Select the screen saver title from the list of installed 
  142.    programs, then click the Add/Remove button.
